Automatic system for measuring residual stresses
by the hole-drilling strain gage method

MTS3000 Field Application

Residual stress measurements on high altitude pipeline using the hole-drilling strain gage method according to the ASTM E837 standard with the MTS3000-Restan system

Measurement are performed using the compressed air turbine drilling slide.

In case of field testing without compressed air supply is available an high speed electric motor.
