1-SINT/BOX
The code 1-SINT/BOX identifies the basic control unit developed for the MTS3000-Restan (only for the manual version). It can be directly connected to the mechanical unit. The small electronic device is supplied with an internal (and replaceable) battery and it includes an acoustic emitter to help the user in the main manual operations (advancing and zeroing). This device helps the operator during the measurement process: however the main practical operations (depth advancing, drilling activation and strain acquisition) remain at total care of the operator.
The main features of the entry-level electronic device are:
- Performing the determination of the zero depth (Zero Setting) manually by issuing a warning sound when the endmill touches the surface of the metallic specimens;
- Management of the limit switches of the system (leaving the system in the calibrated stroke) by issuing a warning sound when the system reaches the limit position.
NOTE: Depth precision and zero depth accuracy are directly related to the manual ability of the operator.
