The code FRS-3-23-1LJBT identifies the package of TML strain gage rosette for hole drilling residual stress measurements.
The rosette has 3 measuring grids (0° – 45° – 90°) with a nominal resistance of 120Ω, realized with a circular patter (Type A rosette according to ASTM E837 standard) in clockwise convention (CW) and thermally compensated for aluminum alloy.
The strain gage diameter of the rosette is 10.26mm and the external diameter is 17.5 mm: it can be used in hole drilling measurements with a drilled hole diameter in the range of 3.60 – 4.20 mm, providing non-uniform residual stress calculation up to 2.0 mm of depth.
The layout of the rosette is suggested for general-purpose use.
The rosette is provided in 3-wires pre-wired configuration made with vinyl cable with a length of 1.0m.
