MTS3000-Restan

Automatic system for measuring residual stresses
by the hole-drilling strain gage method

Typical Configurations

Any system configuration of the MTS3000-Restan system can costumized and composed according own custom requirements.
A system configuration requires the following items:

  • The mechanical device of the system (1-SINT/MEC)
  • Depending on the material under test, a suitable drilling slide based on air turbine (1-SINTSLIDE/1), electric motor (1-SINTSLIDE/2, 1-SINTSLIDE/3 or 1-SINTSLIDE/4), internal pipe drilling (1-SINTSLIDE/5) or orbital drilling (1-SINTSLIDE/6)
  • A microscope option: optical (1-SINT/OPT) or digital (1-SINT/ETH)
  • In case of automatic system requirement, the electronic device and the RSM control software (1-SINT/ELE-BASIC) or (1-SINT/ELE-PRO). In althernative for manual system configurations a simple electronic box (1-SINT/BOX)  with an dedicated acquition software is available
  • A version of the evaluation software that can be selected from Basic (1-EVAL/BASIC), Professional (1-EVAL/PRO), Premium (1-EVAL/PRE), Enterprise (1-EVAL/ENT) or Ultimate (1-EVAL/ULT)
  • If not already owned, a suitable strain gage amplifier as the HBM QuantumX (1-MX440B, 1-MX840B or 1-MX1615B)
